I am a civil litigation lawyer called to the bar in British Columbia on September 10, 1980 and have conducted more than 100 Supreme Court of BC trials and approximately 1000 Examinations for discovery.  I have represented both plaintiffs and defendants at all levels of Court up to the BC Court of Appeal.  Before setting up my own firm I worked at two large insurance litigation law firms in Vancouver where I gained valuable courtroom experience.  I have also negotiated and settled a multitude of cases.  I am qualified as an arbitrator and mediator in British Columbia after taking several courses at the Justice Institute of British Columbia.
